07 08 2007 - Australian singer/actress Alison Farrow (soprano) took
over the stark 'Wee Red Bar' stage to strike tableau poses while she
sang the songs of Kurt Weill with tremendous power, presence and 
some unearthliness. She sang with great feeling and her voice lifted
the enthusiastic audience out of themselves, maintaining their rapt
attention throughout her set. An amazing performance of Kurt Weill
songs from 1920's Berlin to 1940's Broadway which was sexy and 
captivating. Ms Farrow moved from singing in French to English-
American and entertained us with exaggerated poses that could take
you from laughter to pluck at your darkest heartstrings. A thoroughly
professional show whose dark material was punctuated with some comic
moments thanks to Ms Farrow's original interpretation.
