There are so many aspects to this one woman show that make it spellbinding, recounting them all here would be pedantic but you can read about the production in full at their website. Certainly the main selling point is Caroline Williamson's flawless portrayal of Catholic Northern Irish girl 'Claire' and her flowering from vulnerable girl to more hopeful young woman, by means of an affair with an older married man. This is in the form of a monologue that literally had the audience on the edge of their seats, savouring each word of the story and completely captivated by Ms Williamson's performance. Everything about this show, the performance, the narrative and staging is perfect in every way. As Claire’s story twists and turns, the audience is ever hopeful that things will go right in the end for her. Its a tribute in itself that Caroline Williamsons delivery creates such a powerful empathy for Claire. It's a love story and though you can see the final twist coming, its no less powerful for that fact. By John Vassallo
