There are no safety nets and the aerialists are truly death defying swooping like conjoined phantasms in what will make you believe in aerial ballet! There is also an amazing aerial contortionist and in part two an amazing double rotating wheel of death. Though this last may look like something you may see in a hamster cage, it weighs half a ton and carries the nimble and breathtakingly agile Bulgarians, Nikolay Kakralolev and Konstadin Popov, rotating acrobatically upon its axis! All of the acts feature superhuman, beyond Olympic quality acts and acrobatics in impeccable costumes. Its a show where each act tops the last and if you blink you will miss something important. Its a big production with the highest values throughout which will appeal to children and adults alike. There is good continuity between acts and always something going on in the ring between visual and dramatic high points. The surreal intentions of the show, its internationalist theme and carnival costumes may all clamour for critical attention but this would be a distraction from lauding the unbelievable skills of its circus stars.
